A beautifully illustrated book about a little girl and her first day of school. She had a very different summer break compared to her friends (she babysat her sister while others traveled). It addresses complex topics like someone having a different lunch dish or a difficult-to-pronounce name. It’s one of my kiddos’ favorites!
