Keepin’ kids cavity-free and makin’ toothbrush-time tantrums disappear!
These brushes DO NOT clean as thoroughly as an electric or manual brush (see my YouTube review, they miss the molar embrasures cheek and tongue sides, mainly). They’re also not that much quicker to use (90 seconds) or necessarily sensory-friendly (lots of rotation movement required and still vibration of bristles). Where they can be helpful is if someone has dexterity issues and something like the pool noodle modification of an electric brush is still not helpful enough. They can also be helpful for children in building their tolerance for mouth care, but it shouldn’t be a replacement for a regular brush as part of the typical routine forevermore. The goal would be for them to allow the autobrush and because desensitized to then allow a “finishing brush by caregiver” that cleans the areas where plaque is often missed (cheek/tongue side of all molars).
