This is the best investment I made as a mom. It allows you to change a light color and brightness as well as noise from your phone outside of baby’s room. The plus also works as a monitor, but we don’t use it for that. We started using it around 12 months and I still use it for my almost 6 year old. The (+) version works over WiFi (so you could change the light from anywhere, e.g. work) and the original works over Bluetooth (can only change when nearby at home). It’s about a $30 difference in price. I love it – we used it to help our children learn about when it’s okay to leave their rooms. They all sleep through the night and stay in their beds until their light changes color at the scheduled time. It’s SO HELPFUL for daylight savings time transitions!!! This is my go-to baby shower gift that I know will keep on giving.
