Keepin’ kids cavity-free and makin’ toothbrush-time tantrums disappear!
by Francesca Sanna. This is a great book for kids with a lot of worry, especially associated with a new move and/or new school (the protagonist speaks a foreign language and feels very lonely). The book personifies fear as a little creature/person that follows her around. He grows bigger until she meets another child and realizes he has a fear, too. They become friends, her fear shrinks, and soon she realizes everyone has fears and she is able to connect more broadly with others.
