**Comparable to Therabreath PLUS which contains sodium chlorite, zinc gluconate, essential oils (tea tree, menthol), xylitol, and aloe.

Sodium chlorite (chlorine dioxide) and zinc acetate disrupt volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) which are the smelly molecules produced by many oral bacteria that result in bad breath odors.

The essential oils (Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lime, Spearmint) are antimicrobial, although perhaps not as effective as cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) found in BreathRx. If sensitive to CPC and you experience staining, and/or your bad breath isn’t controlled via the zinc compound in BreathRx, this may be a good alternative. Note that BreathRx also contained several essential oils: mint, thymol, and eucalyptus.
