Keepin’ kids cavity-free and makin’ toothbrush-time tantrums disappear!
This brush is comparable to the Sonicare ProtectiveClean 5300, the primary difference being this offers more mode customization (varying intensities) and it does NOT come with the two additional brush heads ($40 value) that the 5300 did. Depending what matters to you – saving money on brush heads vs the customization, either offers a good clean with the standard mode (62000 brush movements and sonic no-contact clean), pressure sensor, and a travel case. Neither is app/blue tooth compatible.
I personally prefer the feel and clean of Oral B to Sonicare, so their brush of similar price point and features is their iO6 (about $20 more), but it offers app connectivity and an LED screen with a smiley face when you’ve brushed the full 2 minutes, which I find fun. The $100 model is iO5, which doesn’t have the LED display but still allows app connectivity via Bluetooth. If you want to use an app for motivation, Oral B may be your best bet at this price point.
