Super Teeth Dental probiotic + prebiotic

Super Teeth Dental probiotic + prebiotic

I do not generally recommend dental probiotics because they’re expensive and there isn’t a lot of research to support that they lead to long-term changes in the oral microbiome. That said, if you’ve got a child with a high cavity rate and you’ve done EVERYTHING else, and you can financially afford to add this to your routine, some small studies show a potential benefit. The organisms s. salivarius and l. reuteri may be beneficial at reducing cavity rates in children. The potential positive effect of probiotics and prebiotics will not outweigh other cavity risk factors such as diet and hygiene practices, so talk to your dentist about all of the things you can try, which may include adding probiotics.
